Activities Students are obliged to take part in all lectures and other kinds of activities . Each working day (from Monday to Friday) there are 8 hours of studying and 2 hours of social and cultural meetings. Evening meetings are chaired by students. Students are kindly ask to prepare a short presentation of their university, city, region and country. One national team should prepare one 10-15 minute presentation (it will be possible to complete the presentation on the spot but it is necessary to collect materials as pictures, descriptions etc. before summer school starts). Moreover, one evening is dedicated to your cuisine. Please take your favourite traditional goodies (as sweets, etc. ) to let other participants try your typical food. You may also take your favourite music files as we are planning a music evening. We will spend weekends visiting Strasbourg and Maulbronn and discovering beauty of Black Forest (Schwarzwald). Please take comfortable shoes and a small backpack. They will be useful during hiking and excursions.
Certification The course will end with a final exam and a group project . During the summer school you will be given a list of questions and problems connected to the lectures and tutorials. You will be asked to give answers during the exam. Moreover, students will work in international groups solving a problem chosen from a list announced by teachers in a first week of the school. The result will be presented by students in front of all students and teachers. The project is obligatory. Taking an exam may give you a chance to obtain a grade for the ACAMIMM course and 6 ECTS credits. Moreover, you will be given a transcript of records typical for the Erasmus exchange and a certificate of completion (or attendance - for those who will fail the exam). Achieved grade and ECTS credits will be recognised by your home university.
